A 12-person Board of Directors governs the Island Corridor Foundation. Five directors represent the Regional Districts and five directors represent First Nations. Membership is limited to local governments and First Nation governments whose territories are wholly or partly within the geographic area of the Corridor. The board meets once a month.

Phil Kent: Cowichan Valley Regional District
Lonnie Norris: Halalt First Nation
Larry Jangula: Comox Valley Regional District
David Bob: Snaw-Naw-As First Nation
Ken McRae: Albernie Clayoquot Regional District
Ray Gauthier: Stz’uminus First Nation
Ted Greves: Nanaimo Regional District
