The plan is good and solid,but I hope there is also an advertising plan to go with it. If people don’t know about the new service when it starts, it could take a long time to get to a successful state.

Is there an example of an upgrade of a line to become a commuter rail operation like the one proposed for the E&N? One possible example comes to mind. The light rail route from Oceanside to Escondido CA.
Vehicles used on that line might be worth looking at. It would be very useful to be able to point to examples.It is not clear what sort of vehicles would be used here. If people could imagine the service, vehicles, stations, timetables, fares and more it might help gain support. For example what would the terminal look like in West Victoria? What facilities and connections would there be for onward travel? Ticketing? And at other stations.

Bc Rail Condustor/Brakeman James Doyle could be a follower of this one, both are writers and U grads. Rail and Fast High Speed rail with ports docks, and tunnel bridge man made island infrastructure is necessary for Bc and VanIsleDevelop-ment.

I am wholeheartedly in favour of improved, increased rail on the island…I can’t wait for agregates and freight and passengers to be transported by rail up and down this island. The current situation on the TCH is just stupid and the trend is towards getting worse not better. Rail is the only solution.
